Leave The Sun Behind - Into The Night Follow Me We Ride -----------------------To Faultier Is Not An Option Tonight, Laying Down Our Last Sacrifice TYPE: Original character/Orignal Canon NAME: Aoi Yuminee (nickname: Mizuko), Sochii Nazara (nickname: Chii) AGE: Aoi is seventeen; Sochii is twenty three GENDER: Aoi is female; Sochii is male SEXUALITY: Both are heterosexual RACE: Aoi is a box jellyfish, allowing her to breath underwater. Her hair, in the dark when her +anima is activated, glows and a few strands grow, going past her fingertips. Those long hairs act like the jellyfish's stingers and have a rather potent venom in them. Sochii is human. SUMMARY: Aoi is a simple, love struck girl that fears disapproval and loneliness. Sochii is a strong and sturdy man and a natural born leader that is much too laid back for times like these. -----------------------------------------------This Is A Wasteland, Make Your Move FACTION: Acies THE CHOICE: When Acies was formed, most slave owners were forced to give up their 'property'. For Aoi, she wanted to stay with her owner as much as he wanted to keep her, but ended up joining nonetheless, so Sochii offered to help keep an eye on Acies. As he wasn't exactly a person with the mindset of those in Supernus, he acts as a subordinate to them/the third in command. While the Supernus are the ones that are really in charge, this title simply states the fact that he's there to make sure the Acies do what they're told. THOUGHTS ON +ANIMA: Aoi is very passive towards others, not looking for a reason to like or dislike a person. Being +anima is never a game changer. Sochii, on the other hand, likes to see himself above others as he is a bit ego-centric. If you're a +anima, he just uses that as a way to make him feel a bit more meaningful and important. However, he has no real grudge against them besides feeling like he is superior. JOB: Aoi's job is simply to do what she's told. One of her main ones is remedial work such as cleaning and cooking, but when told to go on the offense, she dives into the water as that's where her +anima is strongest. Sochii simply keeps the +anima in their place, snuffs out thoughts of rebellion and working towards the Supernus's goal. INVENTORY: Her collar that shows she is owned by Sochii. To be used to later Sochii A pocket watch that belonged to his grandfather. He doesn't keep it for sentimental value, but convenience instead. To be used for later WEAPONS: If not in her +anima mode, she attacks with a dagger made of steel. Sochii Though not a man that enjoys fighting the front lines, he does carry around with him a sword at the hip. Nothing too fancy, just something to threaten the slaves with. ------------------------------Our Last Time, To Make Stars Collide Right Before Your Eyes RELATIONSHIPS: Sochii: - Owner - Their relationship is a romantic one, but not one of physicality. Aoi had a crush on him since he bought her, giving her more food when he could to compensate for the lack of food given by his parents and treating her more like a friend than a slave. She suspects he knows her feelings (despite the fact she is good at keeping such emotions hidden), but is too afraid to confront him about it so she settles for staying by his side as his slave, singing songs when he requests them or other chores. Mami: - Sister - Aoi acted like a mother to her younger sister. However, the two have not talked since Aoi became a +anima Sochii Aoi: - Slave - Managing to pick up small clues that Aoi liked him, he despised himself for a while, disgusted by the fact he actually liked her, a +anima. However, as times grew tough and his parents always fighting, he began to enjoy her silent but warming company. When she did talk, it sounded like a song, so he began to ask her for songs whether it was to help him sleep, help his anxiety or simply to please the ears. As time went on, he noticed he began to like her. Sadly, as one of the leaders of Acies, a relationship with a +anima isn't exactly welcomed, but he's not as good at hiding his emotions as she is and often thinks about taking her to Asteria to join Vindico. HISTORY: Aoi: Aoi and her sister Kami lived with their father. She and Mami constantly asked where their mother was, but never received a real answer. As time went on, Aoi lost her curiosity towards the issue, deciding she would rather not know whereas Mami's curiosity only grew. While Aoi helped her father out in the seas to help fish to keep up with the quota they needed to fill for the week, Mami went off into town, asking everyone any question that could point to their missing parent. Upon return, Mami revealed she had found a lead that led her to Asteria. She begged and begged for the money to take her there, but they barely had enough money to make it through the week. Slowly and over a long period of time, Aoi's younger sister stole from them and others in the town until she made enough money to buy a one-way ticket to Asteria. Fearing the worst for her sister (as told by many with prejudice of Asteria) that harm would come her way, she stowed aboard the ship. Barely a day passed by when she was found out and tossed into the waters with only a piece of drift wood to keep her afloat. Aoi, with limited knowledge of how to swim, tried to swim back to shore. But in the dark of the ocean, loosing the last of her energy and with the thought of "I want to survive, so I can find my sister in the future" she became a +anima. When she washed up on shore, to her luck, she was found by slave marketers. Instantly, she was captured and bought by the highest bidder: Sochii. At first, she lived with the rest of the slaves in the basement being fed no more than stale bread and leftovers from Sochii's family's meals. Doing her usual cleaning rounds during the night (given the task because she was very quite and least likely to disturb anyone), she noticed a light on in one of the rooms. To her dismay, she had walked in on the man who had bought her with clear signs of insomnia. He asked her to sing for him so he could sleep. Nights after that, he began to request her voice more often so he could sleep. Though it meant she had to stay by his side more often, she was allowed the freedom of the other chores and he would occasionally give her more than just the scraps off the dinner table. Time played it's part and she began to develop feelings for the man that owned her. The only recognition anyone could really tell was that when she spoke, it was with a bit more joy. When the war started and all +anima were being pulled to work for the Supernus. To her surprise, Sochii volunteered to work for the Supernus, claiming that she cost him too might to just let go and was granted a leadership job to watch over the Acies. Still, she stays by his side, singing him to sleep or doing remedial chores. Sochii: Born into a rather rich family as the second youngest of five children, there wasn't a lot of attention for him. Growing up was rather uneventful other than making himself noticeable. While other children in his position would have resorted to easy tasks to gain attention, he tried to do something important. He quickly rallied the children of the neighborhood and lead them into the depths of Stella as vigilantes. Though, for children of the age of eight, that just meant saving cats from dogs and catching a pickpocket or two. Growing older, he fancied one of the girls in his group of vigilantes, but never became anything more than that because, before he knew it, he was in charge of the house. He kept his parents' +anima slaves in check, making sure their work was of the expected quality. More than once, he was required to punish them either through means of humiliation or the absence of food (never able to bring himself to hurt them at that age). Entrusted almost completely with the care and supervision of the +anima they owned, he was given money every so often to buy +anima at the market that he deemed usable. Age twenty, he bought a blue-haired girl, supposedly some type of fish +anima, not that he cared. +Anima, in his book, was just a means of prejudice to justify slaves (though, he didn't mind either way) and the less the +anima could use any possibly harmful techniques meant an easier job for him. For an unknown reason, insomnia began to plague him without mercy. At night, burning the midnight oil to read and study, the girl he bought came in to his room. Normally, he would be upset that someone would have the nerve to enter his room, but when she apologized he found her voice calming and demanded she sing to him. Her voice, the voice of an angel's, quickly sent him to sleep. Nonetheless, it couldn't keep him asleep, so after that night, he wanted her to be by his side at night so whenever he awoke, she could put him back to sleep. In return for such grace, he allowed her a place on his floor for her to sleep and allowed her a bit more food. With each passing day, he noticed some type of change in Aoi. She was still as silent as ever, but her lips were curved ever so slightly into a faint and almost unrecognizable smile and her voice had a bit more warmth to it. Unbeknownst to him, his feelings began to grow for her, finding her songs at night more than just a way to fall asleep. Sooner or later, a war broke out and all +anima in Sailand were called for action.
