Should there be anything more? THOUGHTS ON +ANIMA: A better question would be 'thoughts on humans' due to the fact Merina would prefer the company of +anima to fellow humans. She was saved by a +anima a few years back, and since then her life has been to find the +anima that saved her and thank him, or her. JOB: She will do almost anything to earn money, room or board. Often, she will work in the kitchen, but she tends to resort to stealing or pick-pocketing if things are starting to look desperate. INVENTORY: A small backpack where she keeps the few coins of money she owns, food and a small change of clothes. -to be used later- WEAPONS: -to be used for later- ------------------------------Our Last Time, To Make Stars Collide Right Before Your Eyes RELATIONSHIPS: Alec: - Brother - The oldest of her siblings; one of her favorites. He didn't exactly support her ideas of the +anima, but he didn't hate on her for it. Cristine: - Mother - Against +anima. In Merina's younger years, she would often be the one that took care of her when she was sick and would teach her how to sew, cook and draw. Daniel: - Father - Even when Merina was a child, he wasn't the warm and loving type. Unknown: - Caretaker - Supported her while she was direly sick, when no one else would. All Merina knows is that he/she is a feline type +anima. HISTORY: As a child, Merina was rather sickly. She would stay in bed all day, while her family would work on the farm and was often ignored, or neglected. She managed to catch everything one girl could in northern Asteria. The flu, pnemonia, bronchatis and so on. The few days when she wasn't sick, she would tend to work as much as she can, to make up for the work she missed out on, but would then over work herself and end back up in her sick bed by the end of the day. When she turned eleven, her immune system started to kick in and she became a bit stronger. She was allowed to sit at the table for meals, hang out with other kids and work on the farm. But the change was shocking. She had gone from her sheltered life to a very open and strange world. What she heard a lot of where +anima, though she had a very limited knowlage of what they were. Kids would describe them as monsters that would steal you in your sleep, then eat you up. Adults around her talked about them as if they were bugs, a nussiance, that plauged their society. But to Merina, +anima sounded like the most amazing thing in the world. People with animal powers. To be able to fly, or swim without trying sounded like a piece of heaven. Merina started to voice this opinion, but it didn't go to deaf ears. Her parents were very anti-+anima, and the same applied to many of her siblings. Her life style went back to being neglected afterwards, when she refused to give up here ideas. Evenutally, she had a fever and her family didn't even bother to take car of her, leaving her alone in her sick bed. It graudally grew worse since it was left untreated where she couldn't even get out of bed. But, late in the night, someone would come in at night and give her some medicine, change her bedding and clean her for at least a week or two. During which, she noticed that her caretaker had a tail and two cat ears, moving very swiftly. Her savoir, a +anima. She knew they were good. When she was well and healthy again, the +anima was gone, but a bottle of pills left on her bed with a note that said 'take one when you feel ill'. The next day, she grabbed her younger brother's bag and took food and at least 60 gillah during the night and ran away from home. She managed a good life for a few months, traveling and working for money. But when money ran out, she resorted to shop lifting and pick pocketing and she was caught by one of the local guards. She was sent to the city's jail for a day or two, but when the behavior continued, growing a bit more extreme, they threw her in the nearest jail for a year. She was supposed to stay in there for another six months, at the least, due to the rate and volume she stole at. But in jail she grew just a tad violent and they put her in restraints. To be specific, chains around her wrists. However, this barely stopped her. She ended up strangling her guard (only to unconsciousness, she didn't feel like killing the man). She has recently joined the Vindico faction, to be around +anima.
